This message focuses on the disciples being caught in a storm going in a direction that Jesus told them to go and Jesus coming to them walking on the water. I believe this was Jesus testing them to see if they would still trust that he would get them through the storm. The application is that there are times that Jesus will send us in a direction that will not be smooth and we need to trust that Jesus will carry us through our "storm".
